The Maldives Airports Company (MACL) introduced its 2024 calendar in a heartwarming event held at The Maldives Autism Centre. Developed in collaboration with the Maldives Autism Association, the calendar features artwork crafted by students from the center, shining a spotlight on the remarkable talents of children with autism.
Focusing on highlighting the unique abilities of these children, the 2024 calendar seeks to foster awareness in the community and challenge societal perceptions. With the theme “Satisfaction and Happiness,” the artwork beautifully captures the sources of joy for these children.
During the ceremony, MACL Deputy Managing Director Ibrahim Thoha spoke about the significance of this year’s calendar, specifically acknowledging the inclusion of artwork by students from the Maldives Autism Association. Thoha expressed gratitude to the association for providing a platform for these children to showcase their talents.
Beyond showcasing the talents of autistic children, MACL underlines its commitment to social responsibility by creating opportunities to improve the lives of these children.
