Today, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu announced the appointment of Assistant Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau as the new Commissioner of Police. The official ceremony took place at the President’s Office this morning.
Ali Shujau brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having dedicated an extended period of service to the Maldives Police Service. His academic achievements include a Master of Management degree from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. Furthermore, Ali Shujau is a distinguished graduate of the FBI National Academy Session 277, affiliated with the University of Virginia, United States.
President Muizzu’s selection of Ali Shujau for the position reflects confidence in his capabilities and expertise, and the appointment ceremony signifies the beginning of a new chapter in the leadership of the Maldives Police Service under Commissioner Ali Shujau.
